This is how some of my consulting ideas came together...

Humble Beginnings...

My life as an unofficial business consultant humbly started in 2009. I was working as a Hospitality Manager for Curbside Hospitality and I was taking a leave of absence for six months, so I could work on my first book...

On a conference call before I left, I was stating my personal philosophy in dealing with customers, as my success rate was rather high for quite some time. My catch phrase in keeping customers happy was, "Whatever It Takes."

When I returned from Florida, the company was re-branding itself, with new colors and a slogan that just happened to be, "Whatever It Takes." Although they used a professional company for their facelift, my intuition tells me I might have had a little influence, perhaps...

However, I learned more about myself and how to work with others here, than with any other company in my career. So, I have to give credit where credit is due...Thanks to All of You!

On The Right Track...

I was hired by Dollar Tree as an Assistant Store Manager. Although my role was quite brief, I came up with a way to increase annual gross profits by 5-12 million dollars a year, with no expenses out of pocket. I shared this information and ran some numbers with my District Manager.

The solution was found when I was wondering how to make the working conditions a bit more positive for the staff. This was the first time real numbers were attached to an idea I had...

The lesson I learned - beyond the numbers, was that solutions weren't just a logistical or emotional fix. On the surface, my ideas would have helped the emotional climate, but it was the actual positive energy being created and released back into the business that was producing those results.

An important key for success in business is to realize that a solution might take a little effort to put into place at first, but if it's the right one - the numbers will eventually prove it to be true.

A Formula That Works...

After a few more positions in the retail sector, I finally realized my formula will work in almost any retail setting. So far, the highest numbers I've been able to generate is 250 million in additional annual gross profits. This is quite an increase from the previous 5-12 million dollar discovery... And, I'm constantly working to expand on the numbers I've found.

To me, the best part about this idea is that it can be put into place immediately without any expenses out of pocket, and it doesn't disrupt standard operating procedures; it only enhances them - from both sides of the counter. The entire process from start to finish is completed in three very simple steps...In fact, two of them are already in place where you are, right now.

It's my last ingredient that's simply added to what's already there...That makes this formula work to enhance  relationships, and guarantees that your sales numbers will only continue to grow.

A Space For You...

The final piece of the puzzle in taking your business to its highest peak is being willing to try on a few different ways of looking at what you already have.

No matter what you choose to do, gains only take two real steps. The first is realizing that a solution exists, and then being willing to put it into place. With all that you've done to make your business what it is now, a few more positive steps in familiar territory isn't very far to travel...

Sometimes, as you've probably heard, it's the last few steps you take that end up making the most profound difference in the whatever you desire to accomplish...

And I happen to believe that all of us are more than worth it!
