Growing What's In It for You: Part 1...

For this article I’m going to do something completely different. Rather than dancing around certain issues to make them more palatable to read, I’m going to put my entire business consulting practice on the line, right here. Really? Yup. This article is either going to make it or break it for my success, both now and in the future. At some point, this is the exact same decision you’ll have to make, if you want to grow more of “what’s in it for you” in your business, too. So, I'm in good company!

The statement I’m about to make is as huge as it gets, but at the same time, it’s also a no brainer. So here it is: To literally “get or acquire” the most you can – just for yourself, you have to ensure that everyone involved with your business is also doing very well, too. But, what about your part of it? That’s where everything is going anyway; so you’re naturally the biggest part of this idea, I promise.

The purpose of this article is only to do one thing. In fact, in my own life and in my positive relationships writing, I have the same goal there, too. I would like to begin to remove from reality – anything that gets in the way – of having the most we can for ourselves. To achieve this very simple goal, I only have one obstacle; but it’s as big as human history itself! Imagine that? So, what’s the obstacle?

A misunderstanding that told us: In order to get to the top of our own mountain or to stay there, someone else has to lose something to achieve that result. Pretty straightforward, right? This one "half-baked" idea has caused more pain, loss and suffering than any other belief – in history. So, I’m going to take “the sting” out of this equation, and that’s it. The “what’s in it for me part” will remain intact, and in fact, will only keep growing…

I would rather help by bringing forth an idea – that not only allows people to literally have the most they can – just for themselves, while at the same time benefitting everyone else, too. Do you think that sounds a little far-fetched? A little impossible, perhaps? The idea was actually first created, with us. It's been around for billions of years. We just didn’t know it. And that’s all there is to it. Now, you’ll know it, too. (I can at the very least, do that for sure!)

Since we first arrived on this planet, everyone was and still might be convinced that we are totally “separate” from each other. And physically speaking, we are. But according to our biology, and how the energy all around us works – it’s all working together, or not. So, how can these two seemingly separate points of view – good for just you, or just me – exist in reality together at the same time? Since we’re always surrounded by other people in life and in business, to gain the most for ourselves we have to take other people’s needs into account. While on the surface, this idea “appears” to be taking the focus off of us, especially in business – it really isn't. How so?

In any business that’s been here for a while and is doing quite very well, there's only one thing that took you – to where you are, right now. It wasn’t your drive, your vision, or your commitment. It wasn’t even a new product or service. And it wasn't your money, either. Although these things certainly helped, there was only one idea that trumped all of them. In fact, it’s how you took your idea, and made it a reality in the first place. So, what is it?

Beneath all of your great ideas, when you had almost nothing, you had a specific idea that would only do – one thing for the world. It would benefit someone else in some way. Your “big idea” was to bring something into the world that wasn’t here – yet! But, you knew, if you could put this one idea into motion, so that others could become a part of it too – you would achieve astonishing success for yourself, in doing so. And that is – how you got to where you are, right now!

The only thing that changed for you (once you achieved success) was to put a little more focus on yourself, than on what's keeping you here. That’s the only thing that changed. And, guess what? That’s not – a mistake! You did all of this, so that you could make millions of people happy – and so that you could acquire the most you could for yourself, too. So, those two places are not separate from each other. It's just a matter of not being locked into just one side or the other.

You've already shown yourself – that extending your energy out for the benefit of others – will bring you exactly what you wanted to have, for yourself. If these two places weren’t directly connected, your “big idea” wouldn’t have worked in the beginning, at all!

So, remembering that this is how success only continues to get “bigger” for us is the only mistake we made. In the beginning, we had to put all of our focus on others, so that we could do the most for our business. Now that we have what we want, especially if we want to grow more, our energy can still be focused on both places, without losing anything – for ourselves. When we remember that what we put out – is coming right back to us, then there's isn't a loss of anything. And we get to help others at the same time, just like we did in the beginning. The benefits were always for both places; and look what "that end" successfully accomplished for you.

Here, the circle is now fully complete. Both sides are full, and so are we. That was my point. As long as we leave one part empty or close to it, we will feel that way too, because something that’s needed is missing from our circle. Our feelings are just trying to let us know this, so that we can be fulfilled. What seems like a warning isn't here to emphasize a negative. Feelings are always pointing to what we can have more of. It's the only reason why we have them to begin with...

When we put into our businesses what they need to thrive, since they are literally supporting us, then we only continue to grow – more. When we hold onto what we have, and keep it from our business so that we can have more, the thing that’s giving us life, and what we wanted and needed, begins to die. This is what's creating those feelings of lack. (And that’s not good for us, no matter how many different ways we choose to look at it.)

The reason why we can have both – without holding back – is because energy or money or happiness, doesn’t just work over here, or over there. It’s everywhere, and it’s always changing based on what we are doing, where we are. We are the lead domino who puts positive energy into motion in our business, and then that runs through other people, multiplies, and comes right back to us again. It’s like throwing a boomerang. If we hold onto it – then there’s never a greater return. And that’s fine, if we’re happy with what we have. But even happiness begins to shrink in time, too. We were always meant to grow more. So, energy and money need to stay in motion in order to grow, but it's still circulating through and back to us at the same time, too.

In the end, this belief comes down to the question of: Can I still have vast amounts of money and energy for myself, while I’m sharing it? Let’s remove "sharing" from our vocabulary. Sharing in the way that we often think about it, infers a loss of some kind. Energy and capital is either growing or shrinking, based on what we think about it, and what we do because of those thoughts. When we extend positive energy out in any form – it gets multiplied through the process of movement, and with the positive effects that this action creates.

In physics, an atom that is balanced and stable (since everything is connected), allows other atoms to maintain their own stability, as well. Now, each one has its own energy, and it’s also surrounded by stable levels of energy at the same time. This simple process, we know as synergy. Here, each atom has more energy – just for itself, while it’s also being surrounded by the stable energy it’s helping to maintain, and build on. If that sounds a little difficult to put yourself into, the next example will help…

Picture standing in the middle of a circle, where twelve happy people are smiling at you, and you are smiling back. What happens to your energy, and the energy of everyone in the circle? Do we lose or gain more, here? We only gain more. Everyone grows from where they are standing right now, 100%. If we are worried about getting more, we will hold back, and that will get in the way of creating more. If we extend our energy out knowing that this is how it gets multiplied, then both places within us and outside of us will only grow and thrive, so that we can always keep our energy, in play.

We are in essence, mirroring perfectly how atoms work, because that’s how they create matter or money. And since we’re full of them, we keep ourselves healthy and happy at the same time, too. Is this full circle example clear enough now? It works this way with anything that atoms are a part of – which is everything! Everything we have in material reality is combining and co-operating to create more for itself, and what's around it at the same time. That's how physics works, chemistry, biology, you name it. And, we're all made up of those elements, right? So, that's exactly how we "work" to grow more of everything, even for ourselves...

The only thing that will change when you embrace the philosophy that brought you to where you are now, besides everything growing and working better is – how good you feel. And besides money, that’s what you’re looking to grow more of, too. So, rather than thinking of putting your energy or your money “out” away from you, or just very close to where you are, now you know it’s going out, and coming right back to you at the same time. The positive process itself is doing the “work” on all of the parts of your business that need it. It’s benefitting all of your customers, employees and shareholders, and even with all of that extension, it's still multiplying – and coming right back to you! That's the only part we've had trouble believing in, when everything else works this way, why couldn't the positive benefits be that good for us, too?

So regardless if it’s the money or energy you’re worried about “losing,” take the negative out of the equation for yourself, first. Put a positive back in, by knowing that whatever you do for others, your business, or even yourself is always coming back to you, in what you have and how you feel. There was never a need to put a loss or a negative into any part of this equation!

To achieve the success you have, you also knew this, or you wouldn’t have extended the idea past yourself and out into the world in the first place. You would have been too worried about what you were going to lose, or get back. The only thing I’m doing is reminding you of what you already know, so that a loss of anything that's important is removed from the equation of growing more. That negative was never needed to get to the positive results we desired to have. If anything, the idea only held us back. I hope at this point, your decisions will have the most positive benefits everywhere, so that’s exactly what comes back to you, and how much of it! When you know something is working to build positive results for you, and also what's around you at the same time, the need for worry or any other negative emotion is removed from the equation. So, you get more of everything you wanted, in every way possible...

The most selfish and selfless ideas (if they are working properly), always come back to the same happy place, within us. There was never anyplace else that those feelings could go! With this understanding in place, there are no more obstacles for us to think about. From here, happiness and wealth will only continue to grow more. So, there you have it.

I can lead you into the places of understanding where obstacles are removed from the equation. However, removing the obstacle in your business and reaping the rewards of that, is what you're there to do...

If you could use a hand in building a bridge between these two places, that’s what I’m here for, and that's what my unique sales plan does for you, as well. With a few simple moves, everything can start coming together in ways that will surpass your current expectations. Often, the hardest part isn't so much figuring out what to do or how to do it, but it's actually getting to a point where we say "yes" to the success we've always wanted to have. If only one word is separating the distance between where you are standing right now to having much more easily, it can't get much easier than that. You're only one word away, from where you've always wanted to be...Imagine that. So, what are you waiting for? If success is right there, then take the step!
