How My Proposal Numbers Work - Part 3: The Last Word.
If you’ve read my 3 most recent blog posts, I’m sure you’ve been able to see that my philosophy behind any product or service – ensures that you can deliver your product, along with those positive feelings – straight to the customer without a problem. Since they’re really buying into a positive experience for themselves (provided by you) everything else that I do as far as ideas go, will support – that happy ending. Not just for now, but for later on, too.
From an internal business perspective, how you deliver that message – or your logistics process, goes all the way around from the top to the bottom of your business. That’s the full circle. Everything a business does – or doesn’t do, supports the sale and the positive feelings that go along, with it.
My role besides my specific idea for your business is to help you identify – from a customer and employee’s perspective, just how well that message is getting across. And, believe it or not, you won’t determine this from the number of sales you have. It’s an indicator of how well the product itself is doing; but that’s half of the equation. The energy and intentions behind the product is going through your logistics process (your employees) and is directly effecting – what your customers end up with. That's why the “relationship” you have with your employees is so important. It wasn’t “just” for, or about them. The good will for your customers and the quality of the service you’re offering has to literally go through them first – before it reaches the consumer. So, re-branding or even additional training might be helpful here, but even that’s not exactly hitting the center of the bullseye, as far as what your customers – feel.
In my 30+ years of experience with studying relationship development, how the employees are doing (how they feel about working in your business) is the leading factor that determines how your original intention – reaches your customers. And, although you can’t always control everything that happens during a transaction using any method, you can just about guarantee yourself (and your employees and customers) that you have everything in the right place – to create the best experience possible, by setting the conditions that create it. That’s all anyone can do.
A little history here, as this idea is what actually grew businesses to where they are right now, at least at one point in time…
Starting in the late 80’s up until a few years ago, businesses and even some of the best consultants in the world, thought that they could somehow skip right past the employees, and go straight – to the target: Their customers. While, overlooking that the employees were the direct messengers and carriers of what the customer needs – and receives. It only hurts to hear about this scenario, not because of the damage, but because of the full and complete positive opportunity that was lost in that approach…Instead of keeping everything that works for the business – intact and growing on its own, naturally. So, that’s where the negative is, and this current travels all the way down the line, and right back up – to the top. (I know exactly how this feels for everyone involved. It causes a lot of pain and frustration, even with the little extra gains. That's why I desire to reverse those effects. Who needs them?!) And, it’s not exactly anyone’s fault. This mindset was just a sign of the times, and everyone thought – that they were gaining the most, using this method. And, I completely understand why someone would want to follow that idea. It was the positive gains they were after – not the pains.
So, my prime goal (besides increasing sales) is to bring back the spirit of working together to produce the best of all possible outcomes – for everyone involved. And, to show where those intentions start, stop and end – with your customers. From a logistics point of view, almost any experienced business person can follow those dots on paper. But emotionally and financially – is where the “idea” itself, gets lost.
So, what really makes my formula or ideas work – underneath it all?
When a business already has an established product line that’s selling well, giving to the employee part of the business IS the final frontier – in maximizing profits and getting the economy as a whole, back in very good shape. (Two ends of the same equation.)
The “catch” is that in most relationships – we’re all worried about extending ourselves. When, even to reach the customers – that’s exactly what we’re doing to make sales happen. So, we’re already reaching past the point that we were worried about, all along! Now, simply do the same for your employees along the way, and treat them the same as you would a customer. In actuality – they are. They just happen to play two roles. They both buy and sell your products. And, how they feel about being inside, directly translates to your customers outside – and this all adds-up, and comes back to your bottom line.
That’s the whole equation, from start to finish – that’s producing your gains. (Far more numbers are produced at the point of transaction, than anywhere else.)
Now that you remember what’s really happening here, you can stand behind the invisible line and hold back a bit more, or you could extend what your business needs – to produce the exact outcome you wanted, or even exceed that goal. Since today, there is a huge gap – between here and there…The leaders in this economy and at this time, will be the ones who are willing to go a little further and give a little more – because they know exactly what it will do for them, their employees, customers – and the bottom line. (It’s just a circle.)
The specific idea I had for your business was only an enjoyable treat (not a trick) so that we could begin working together to put back – what was left out, due to a very popular trend a long time ago…
At the end of any positive experience, sale or relationship, both parties walk away knowing for sure – that what they put into it together, was always – what they got out of it. And, this truth is the same principle that grows the most profits, keep’s employees happy and productive where they are, keep’s customers coming back for more, and most importantly…
It keeps you happy at the very top of what you’ve helped to build – and make happen.
This is the “Finish” that’s always coming back to you, when you know that you’ve done a job – well done. Those rewards will always be going out, and coming right back in – which is exactly what they were supposed to do. I’m here to help any business who desires to walk on the path – of all good things to come, again. Not just for now, but for later on, too.
You can bet your entire bottom line, that there will be very few businesses who hop back on the bandwagon that moves everything to a much higher ground. They’re “waiting” for everyone else to do it. As well as they might be doing, financially…They’re still stuck – in the past. (A sad circumstance for them, really…)
However, for right now – only those who are willing to move ahead to create a much better experience all around, will make it – and be able to stay there. So, be a leader and one of the first who branches out a little more; but gains much more than you thought was possible, in return. If you do, you’ll be seeing plenty of other businesses in your rear view mirror, if that’s a little extra motivation for you to get started; besides the increase in sales and in logistics running smooth, once again. And, how do I know this really works?
Contrary to other methods, there is only a positive or plus sign – in every major part of your business circle that’s adding-up to what you’ll have. And, once those conditions are in place and refreshed every once and while, what’s already there is doing the work – for you.
So, now – it’s all right there on the table. The worst of the past, and the best of the future.
l completely extended myself fully here, as an example – to show that you can also do the same thing where you are now, as well. Only the best – happens here. You’ve seen a glimpse of just how far this idea will take you…
We're all at a crossroads, right now. We can zoom on, and just keep doing what brought us here, or we can move forward with the knowledge that we need to move ahead. To me, it's a very simple choice. More pain one on side, or positive, lasting growth on the other. Only one of these choices will give us a reason to celebrate! On a darkened path, only those who let their positive and bright ideas shine, will be the ones who will grow, and garner the most attention at the same time...All while being an example of what's possible.
I'm here to help those who desire to have the most gains, create and appreciate the opportunity we have together. Why would we want to be, anywhere else? In the meantime, let me know how I can help you move forward, and stay – at the top!
