It's Time to Say...Thank You.

If I had employees (besides just me) in my business, during the holidays…I would post a sign on my front door that read: We are closed on all major holidays. So, enjoy the time with your loved ones. The business will still be here – when you get back!

If you somehow “imagined” that making a few more bucks is going to make you happier than all of those missing time with their families (that they’ll never get back) simply – do the math. Put their combined misery on one side; and a little bit of profits (because it will be very slow anyway) on the other end.

Objectively…I want to know what you come up with – as far as your feelings go: The final tally on them. (Are you sending yourself mixed messages there?) The only reason – you make decisions – is to feel “as good” as you possibly can about them, correct?

Start doing your (own) math on both sides for a change – and you’re going to be very surprised as to what happens there – on that drawing board.

…Someone or something (not me) on the other side of this equation – wants you to be “not as happy” as you could be. That’s why it’s asking you – telling you – to “only look” at the side where you are gaining…Not – on the (other) losing side of that particular equation.

You can be afraid of pure math, or you can embrace it. (That’s your choice.)

For Thanksgiving…I choose to look at what will give (me) the highest yield on ALL sides.

That’s exactly what a very smart businessperson would do – who really cares about themselves, and how they feel – in and out. (That’s the only reason why we do, what we do – right?)

Thanksgiving IS: For feeling as good, as you possibly can – and that’s it.

So, start making decisions that will, in fact, lead you there…And – there you’ll be. You’ll find many other people on the same (positive) side as you there, too. Some would call that addition of energy in numbers: Growth.

For this holiday season…It’s about time you were standing in much bigger pool of positive energy this year.

Let those who are in fact “getting less” stay right where they are.

You deserve so much more than what you’ve got, right now, anyway…

We all do.

And, believe it or not…That’s where all of your “gains” are coming from, directly. Right in the middle…Of ALL of that combined Joy.

Some of us, really do…Have much bigger things to do. Money is only the beginning of that endeavor…Not – the end of it.

So, for those who understood exactly what this blog meant and why…
