How I Became a Consultant...

I became a consultant because I really had an interest in the subject matter. It includes so many different disciplines. I always thought that if I worked hard enough and listened to my intuition carefully – something very good was going to work out with this endeavor. I wanted to keep staying committed and true to the ideas I felt that my spirit or the Universe was giving me – because they fit me to a "T." And those ideas could work out in a very positive way for me and so many others, more than any other role or position. To me, it seemed like it wasn’t just a coincidence when every idea I came up with was worth over $100 Million in sales to big businesses annually – without many, or no expenses to put those simple ideas in place. I feel that almost anyone would eventually want to put their time and energy into those ideas, combined with the long work history and experience I’ve had, so far...

Why has your work history been so extensive?

Three reasons.

One:

I can only thrive and do well in a work situation where people are organized and getting along for the most part. I grew up in a very rocky family environment, and I’ve seen what this friction does to people’s lives. It’s very unhealthy and destructive. So, when we are working together and getting along, we can actually put that positive energy right back into our work. From here – logistics work better, run smoother, and we actually do a much better job. And, of course, the personal satisfaction that comes from this – only snowballs and makes you want to do more, or to be a part of those feelings and results more often. That’s feedback. So, it’s not an ideal for me. It's how things can and could work most of the time, because we were made to function this way, biologically. So, it’s not just a fantasy. That’s the first part…

Two:

If employers want to be healthy and do what works – they need to organize and set-up working conditions to match this. Not just for the workers themselves, but so that the work itself can be accomplished easily, repeatedly. (Hey, success comes easy here. We work smarter, not harder!) If you have what’s needed in the right place – this brings security to the entire business, and to the people working there. When something is working, your body picks up on those cues and it makes you feel safe and relaxed, because you know if things continue to run this way – you can keep that system "up" for as long as you want without many problems, at all. And, that’s the whole idea – to make things work for the top, the bottom and the customers, so that a healthy prosperous cycle can just keep on going, growing and moving forward. (This is when shareholders want to start getting involved.) So, as you can see these four ends are connected, and it’s really not about one “side” or the other. (Like a baseball field, those individual plates are separate, but they all fit together to make the game possible.) Here, everyone still gets to have what they want and need. That’s just abundance and functionality in its highest form. What works – is working to keep everything going. That’s the connection; and that's why the idea itself is so important.

A business is an entity, and when things work for every major part of them – individually and collectively – the business will continue to thrive financially, with almost nothing in the way of keeping those operations running smooth. It’s just a perpetual, self-fulfilling, working and productive cycle. The enjoyment of this means that people will be committed to their work far beyond the paycheck. Which means more freedom and room to grow for the company as a whole. See the complete and Full Circle now? Just draw a circle – and everything in there is working. When you add more plus signs into the circle emotionally, logistically and financially, it only gets bigger not smaller; as well as what comes out of that. It’s just math. (That’s all I’m really talking about here!)

By giving everyone what they really need to do a job well done – and communicating regularly about how that’s going – everything can continue to work, and improve naturally. That’s growth in a healthy way. Most businesses are still a little stuck in the “for me” phase, even though all of those problems from some areas not getting what they really need to function – are still coming right back to the top anyway, in many more ways than one. (It’s a constant struggle for everyone that didn’t really need to be there in the first place to grow.) Things that are really working out are not a “just for you or me” or the highway proposition. When conditions are set-up this way – everyone gets hurt, and you can’t really enjoy what you have, or what you've built in this state of stress. (I could write another book on how this all works together, but it would be incredibly depressing to read!) So, when you put me into an environment like this – it’s very hard to just keep on working, when I understand all that’s happening there. It’s a very painful and stressful thing to be a part of. I'm looking and working to be a part of a business that knows about this – or at least wants to! Most people who are not living or operating this way, duck under these ideas – when they really need to be peeking over the fence to see what’s really on the other side for them. And, that’s what I’m here to help them do. I know what’s over the fence. There is no loss to what any company has – by simply making things work, easily; only so much more to gain in every way, both individually and collectively. And, since most don’t know this, or are afraid to, but really need this information to grow the most – that’s why I came along! When you connect this functionality emotionally and logistically to even greater numbers financially, then – the sum is always greater than the parts, both now and later on. You simply feel better about everything you're a part of because it working! That's just the payoff from doing business in a way that works...

And, the last reason is My Purpose:

I’m here to take people across the line between what's already here – and what could be, but without losing what one wants for oneself in the process; both in business and in personal relationships. (That's what my degree in Sociology is based on.) For most people this is a very scary place to venture out from – but there is really nothing but more joy for both of us on the other side of the line of where we are, right now. I’ve been over it many times before in many different situations; so I understand how that transition works. Everywhere in life people want to have and experience more of something positive. That's growth and expansion. Sometimes in order to do this, we need to solidify what we already have, and other times we need to grow and expand what's there. It’s all the same line that we're crossing, it’s just that the situations look different; but the solution is still the same. Besides enjoying my own personal life, that’s all I’m really here to do, besides music. That’s also a creative part of who I am. So, I’ve been trying to weave these major parts of me into my work – so that I can happily be myself, do what I do best, to extend what’s needed, and to thrive from doing that – all while creating some new and exciting opportunities and possibilities for others, as well…

It’s very difficult to just “sign-up” where those exact skills are needed…Which is why I wrote a book on positive relationships, and it’s why I write business proposals, too. I’m just trying to establish myself as a business and relationships consultant. So far, even though I feel I’m an expert at what I know, and I’ve written over a Billion dollars of proposals to some of the world’s largest companies, I haven’t had any bites yet…When – I really just want to be thriving, helping others as much as possible, and making myself – very happy to be here!

I guess you could really boil all of this down to simply say…I just want to have a very happy and healthy relationship with life, and with others, and I’m looking for more places – to make that possible:) Now, I just need a good opportunity to be successful with some of the ideas I’ve come up with to really make a positive difference in the lives of others, and in their businesses, too.

And, there you have it...

That's why I become a Consultant!
