Overcoming This Year's Challenges: A New Approach for the Future...

There’s no question everyone has had an incredibly challenging year. And, with that came a host of fast changes to restructure logistics to allow our businesses to work through those, successfully. With any new experience – both positive and negative, we all have an opportunity to rethink how we run our business, and to take a much closer look at what’s really important to us as far as goals, and what’s helping us achieve them. While emotionally, we might still be reeling from those challenges, logistically speaking, we still have a great opportunity to make our businesses even stronger than they were before. So, for any business that might need a little outside feedback on how to keep things running smoother long into the future, I want to extend my services…

There’s no doubt that most businesses have an expert panel to deal with the legal and medical concerns that Covid-19 has brought. By my perspective is a little bit different. Even though I have a medical background (Nursing and EMT experience), believe it or not, my approach to helping businesses thrive is still the same. Underneath of our current concerns, we still need the very same things at the core of our business to make it run and function well. So, this is a perfect time to revisit the basics of what’s making our businesses – work.

From attracting new employees, to benefit packages, to hourly wages, to how many people we need to run our stores successfully, to how management communicates together from now on, to new product ideas, all of the functions that we normally take for granted can be solidified and strengthened, so that regardless of the conditions outside, on the inside, we can still keep our operations moving forward successfully…

In both good times and in the challenging ones, my aim is still the same. I want to do whatever I can to assist in making sure that businesses are running as well as they possibly can for everyone involved. If anything, this time has shown to us that we are all deeply affected by what’s happening in our lives, and in our business. And with that realization, we can use this point to make our businesses run better than they ever have before. And this time around, we’ll know exactly what’s making that work – so we never have to lose sight of: where we are, where we want to go, and how to get there together – in the most enjoyable and productive ways possible.

We all deserve and could certainly use a positive boost right now in how we feel about working, and where we’re headed in the future. Now is the right time – to feel even better about what we’re doing every day to reach the goals that are most important to us…
